Based in Scotland, we are a humanitarian consultancy specializing in post-conflict reconstruction and peacebuilding initiatives.

• Heritage Reuse: Revitalizing culturally significant spaces damaged by conflict to help communities reconnect with their heritage.

• Housing, Land, and Property (HLP) Solutions: Addressing critical challenges faced by displaced populations and supporting resettlement initiatives.

• Memorialisation and Trauma-Informed Practices: Understanding and integrating post-conflict memory and modes of memorialisation as part of recovery strategies.

 

We have collaborated with esteemed international organizations such as UNESCO, the British Council, ICCROM, UN-HABITAT, and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM). Our partnerships extend to grassroots community groups, military stakeholders, tribal leaders, and NGOs in regions like Iraq, Singapore and Indonesia.

Key Projects Include:

• Designing and developing an urban park for Mosul’s youth on a site previously occupied by ISIS, funded by The HALO Trust and UNMAS.

• Mapping sites of violence in Mosul and Tal Afar as part of IOM's MHPSS Unit

• Conducting HLP assessments for displaced communities in Iraq and Kurdistan to support IOM’s resettlement effort as part of IOM's Transition and Recovery Units

• Providing training to local and international IOM staff on post-conflict memory, place, and persecution.

• Contributing expertise to UNESCO and ICCROM's "Revive the Spirit of Mosul" project, empowering Iraqi architects and engineers to reuse cultural landmarks damaged by war.
